Party Poker Reschedules Event; Now Coincides with WSOP Main Event

Wednesday, June 11th, 2014

party-poker-table-screenshotThe World Series of Poker is in full swing and in just a few weeks the main event will begin. This is of course the most anticipated event of the series and should see a nice number of players competing. Most everyone in the industry does not schedule events at the same time as the WSOP Main Event as they know they will see a lower number of players than if the event took place at a different time. However, this fact does not seem to be stopping Party Poker from offering a WPT event during the starting days of the highly anticipated main event.

The WPT500 at ARIA Resort & Casino is presented by Party Poker and was recently rescheduled to begin on the 4th of July and continue until the 9th of July. This will place the event in the same time frame as the beginning of the main event. The WPT tournament will have a buy-in of $565 and will have $1 million in guaranteed prize money which make it appealing to players.

The Aria is currently offering lower buy-in events starting today that will be in competition with events at the Rio as well. The Aria events have buy-ins of $235 to $340 with additional events with buy-ins of $150 and $175. Deepstacks, bounties and more will be offered at the Rio.

Once July 1st rolls around, the Aria will be hosting daily super satellites two times a day. These satellites will take place until the event begins on the 4th of July. During the series, the Aria will host a PLO tournament and two 2-7 Triple Draw events. A ladies event, senior’s event and two Open Face Chinese Shootouts are also on the schedule.

Party Poker is already offering satellites so you can earn a prize package worth $1,700 to compete in the WPT event. Included in the prize package is the tournament entry, accommodations and spending money. The satellites start at just $1, making it easy for players to compete for minimal cost.

Party Poker Brings Back Palladium Elite VIP option exclusive to New Jersey

Wednesday, April 30th, 2014

party-poker-table-screenshotThe Palladium Elite VIP tier is one that was of the highest caliber at Party Poker. The option was deleted about a year ago to make Party Poker a more recreational gaming destination, but now the online poker room has added the option back but only to those who are located in New Jersey.

To reach this level of VIP status, the players at Party Poker must earn 10,000 points while playing either poker or casino games. The points are valid till the end of the quarter that the points were earned as well as the following gaming quarter.

With the new VIP level, players will have access to certain benefits. These benefits include access to VIP events that includes parties, concerts and sporting events. Players will have the opportunity to compete in exclusive tournaments in live game play as well as have discounts for the online poker room store. Palladium Elite hosts can provide anything a player needs to get started and there are also more bigger and more frequent bonusing opportunities or this VIP level.

This new VIP status was made available in the middle of April and players were given the incentive to reach the level by the 16th of the month by giving away tickets to the NJCOP. The point of the new VIP level is to get people playing at Party Poker. The New Jersey site already holds the top spot for players but as any online poker room knows, player liquidity is key.

The goal is to continue to gain player liquidity so the gaming tables are full and players will be happy to find a playing field online whenever they log on. Party Poker is doing a good job of bringing players in and keeping them interested so they can continue to be a leader in today’s gambling marketplace.

PokerTracker Service Now Available in New Jersey

Wednesday, February 5th, 2014

Poker players enjoy various features from top quality online poker providers from special tournaments, bonuses, promotions and more. certain features set poker rooms apart from the rest and one aspect that players take advantage of s a poker tracker. PokerTracker is an option that players have at many online poker sites that offers the option of tracking player results over hands played. The option has now been made available in the state of New Jersey for both PartyPoker and Borgata players.

According to a recent report by Pokerfuse, PokerTracker 4 has been added as a support option for PartyPoker New Jersey as well as Borgata Poker players. The hand tracking tool will offer members of these sites a database for tracking game play results. These results can be used as a learning tool for players to better their game.

Results with heads up displays can be viewed on the table while players enjoy Omaha and Hold’em with cash and tournament formats available. A press release was sent out to the media on the subject that stated the tool coincides with the regulatory framework already in place by the Department of Gaming Enforcement of New Jersey.

Before the tool was available, players had to change the settings at Party Poker to be able to save their hand history. With the new update, players will now be able to view the history without having to make any setting changes. This will be a nice addition to the software, especially players who take time to review their game play.

The Poker Tracker 4 update only helps to bring the online poker industry up the standards of offshore counterparts. The United States still has a long way to go but as more states show interest in entering the market, the option should expand over the next few years.
